Dr. Stewart Bloomfield recently was an invited speaker at the Schepens Eye Institute/Mass Eye and Ear Hospital/Dept. Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School as part of their Distinguished Scientist Seminar Series.

Dr. Stewart Bloomfield has joined the editorial board of the ARVO journal Translational Vision Science and Technology.

Dr. Alexandra Benavente was elected by the ARVO members to the ARVO Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC) for the Anatomy/Pathology section (AP section): http://www.arvo.org/AMPC/

Dr. Tobin Ansel was awarded the first College award to an OD student for his research work: The Josh Wallman,PhD Memorial Research Award For Excellence in Research (Sponsored by the Optometric Center of New York). Research Mentor: Alexandra Benavente

Dr. Daniel Laby recently received an award for the best abstract by the American College of Sports Medicine Greater New York Regional Chapter at a Conference at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
