(a) The State has designated Lincoln's Birthday as a "floating holiday" for M/C employees and employees represented by CSEA, PEF, and UUP. Employees represented by Council 82 (ALES Bargaining Unit) will observe Lincoln's Birthday as a regular holiday on February 12, 2008.
(b) Under the Attendance Rules when a holiday falls on a Sunday it is observed on the following Monday.
(c) Election Day is a "floating holiday" for for M/C, CSEA, and PEF employees. UUP employees will observe this floating holiday on Friday, November 28, 2008.
