Department of Biological Sciences


The Department of Biological Sciences teaches courses in such areas as general and ocular anatomy, general and ocular physiology, histology, neuroscience, general and ocular biochemistry, molecular biology, pathology and general and ocular pharmacology. The objective is to provide the foundation in the basic biological sciences for clinical education in the third and fourth years of the professional program. Members of the department participate in the college's graduate and research programs.
