The Department of Vision Sciences provides the vision sciences (physiological optics) and optics infrastructure and scientific principles that underlie the clinical testing and rehabilitative aspects of optometric practice. In addition, it provides the sequence of courses in basic refraction, contact lenses, vision therapy/rehabilitation, and low vision. Members of the department participate in research and the graduate program.
