Requirements for admission and application forms

It is anticipate that for those wishing to apply for entry in the Fall, 2010 and beyond, the profession is planning on initiating a Centralize Common  Application system for ALL schools of optometry which may result in a limited modification to our admission requirements and application procedure. Since at this time the exact date for implementing this new system and its requirements has not yet been determined,  interested application should refer to our website  www.sunyopt.edu  for updates when they become available, possibly as early as the Fall of 2008. But for those applying for entry in the Fall of 2009 and possibly even 2010, the enclosed information and procedure is in effect. 

Please make sure you meet tha academic requirements before you apply.  Click on the link of each program to view more information. Early applications are encouraged.
