Weather Alert - November 3, 2012

The college will re-open on Saturday, November 3, 2012 with the resumption of UEC patient care services. In addition, the library will re-open tomorrow with extended closing hours.

Employees regularly scheduled to work Saturdays who are unable to make it in must contact their supervisors and will be required to charge appropriate leave credits. All employees are required to report to work according to their work schedule.

Academic programs will resume on Monday November 5, 2012.

As a result of the directive from the Governor's office, the SUNY College of Optometry will be closed, except for essential services, tomorrow Friday, November 2, 2012. Employees are directed not to report to work, except those that are directed to report for essential services.

Anyone requiring access to the building must make arrangements with University Police in advance by calling 212-764-0318.

We anticipate that all programs will be fully operational on Saturday, November 3, 2012.

As a result of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and the continued suspension of the mass transit system, SUNY College of Optometry is extending its suspension of all program activities through Tuesday October 30, 2012.

In addition, the University Eye Center is suspending scheduled patient care activities for Tuesday October 30, 2012.
