The Alumni Office is creating an Alumni e-list. Those alumni on the list will receive periodic emails from our office, keeping you up to date on what's happening at the College and within the profession. Volunteering/Getting Involved
Lunch & Learn - Twice a year alumni have the opportunity to return to the College and talk about life after SUNY O.
In the spring and fall, the Alumni Association sponsors an informal alumni/student lunch. Alumni are invited back to the College to have an informal Q&A lunch with current students and share real world experience as a practicing optometrist.
Past Lunch & Learn sessions have been very well received by the students. We hope to continue this tradition and need alumni participation.

The Alumni Network - helping to guide students on their journey to become an optometrist.
The Office of Student Affairs has a "Network" of optometrists who have agreed to have their names and contact information available to students who want to become more acquainted with the profession by spending a day observing in an office. This network also provides mentoring for students.
