The New Jersey Student Association (NJSA) is a division of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP). The NJSOP was founded in 1903 and has been on the forefront of representing the optometry profession before the state legislation. With over 800 members, the NJSOP has been able to help expand the scope of optometry in New Jersey and improve the quality of vision care. NJSA allows students to become more educated about the current events of the optometry profession in New Jersey.

Scholarships:
The NJSOP administers four scholarships for the Dr. Leslie Mintz Scholarship Foundation. These scholarships are available to full-time optometric students who are New Jersey residents, have financial need and demonstrate aptitude for the optometric profession. Applications must be submitted by February 15.
