Progressive Lens Study: Experienced Progressive Lens Wearers

Why we are doing this study:
To evaluate the performance of a new progressive addition lens

Who can be in the study:
Experienced progressive lens wearer between the ages of 41 and 70.  Optometrists, opticians and ophthalmologists are excluded from the study. Specific screening questions will be asked before scheduling a study appointment.

What the study involves:
There are 5 study visits. For the study, you will wear 3 pairs of spectacles with different progressive addition lenses.  Each trial pair of spectacles will be worn for 2 weeks.  You will evaluate the lenses after each trial period by completing questionnaires. 

Will you directly benefit from the study?
Being in this study won't directly benefit participants. 

Other things you should know about the study:
You will be required to wear the spectacles for more than 5 hours per day, at least 5 days a week (occasional wear of contact lenses is allowed)
For your time and participation, you will be given a pair of spectacles with addition lenses and up to $75 at the end of the study.
