• Study the role of motion cues in classifying nonrigid deformations.
• Develop computational models for extracting nonrigid 3D shape and deformations from motion cues.
• Examine the role of MT population response in classifying nonrigid 3D shape deformations.

Postdoctoral Associate, Zaidi Lab, Graduate Center for Vision Research, Oct. 2008 – May 2012
• Study the perception of non-rigid structure from motion cues using novel stimuli.
• Examine how shape attributes contribute to motion perception in 1-D, 2-D and 3-D cases and develop computational models to explain human performance.

Postdoctoral Associate, Backus Lab, Graduate Center for Vision Research, Oct. 2008 – Dec. 2010
• Study learning effects on utilization of extra-retinal ego-motion signals for 3D shape perception.
• Explore cue-recruitment for 3-D shapes that contain no motion using novel stimuli
• Examine cue-recruitment of extrinsic signals (those not carried by the object) both within the visual modality as well as across auditory-visual modalities using bistable stimuli.
