Dr. Oliver is an Associate Clinical Professor for the SUNY State College of Optometry, Director of Eye Care Services at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY and a part-time private practitioner. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, ocular pharmacology, primary eye care and surgical co-management. Dr. Oliver is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a Hospital Based Residency in Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Dr. Oliver has also been a visiting Associate Professor for the Department of Optometry at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia. Formerly, he has held positions as the Regional Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers in the Philadelphia, PA area and the Chief of the Ocular Disease and Special Testing Service at the SUNY State College of Optometry.
