Dr. Harriette Canellos is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Clinical Services Department at SUNY Optometry. She is also the Referral Service Director of the University Eye Center and Section Chief of Ocular Disease and Special Testing Service. Before holding her current positions, Dr. Canellos has held several other positions since joining the college in 1993, including, Primary Care Module Coordinator, Primary Care Residency Supervisor and Chair, Quality Assurance Committee.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Member of New York State Optometric Association as well as a Member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Canellos also serves as a member of New York State Board for Optometry.
Dr. Canellos is the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in May, 2004.
