Dr. Rochelle Mozlin joined the College of Optometry in 1981, after graduating from the New England College of Optometry. After completing SUNY’s Residency in Vision Therapy, she became a member of the clinical faculty, and currently holds the rank of Associate Clinical Professor. Dr. Mozlin is a developmental optometrist and works in the Pediatric and Vision Rehabilitative Services.
She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She also obtained a Masters degree in public health in 2003 from New York Medical College.
Dr. Mozlin has published extensively and lectured on topics related to developmental vision and optometric education. She is also active in SUNY’s University Faculty Senate where she is currently serving as Chair of the Governance Committee. In 2011, Dr. Mozlin received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA) in recognition of her contributions to the advancement of the profession of optometry, demonstrated through her numerous publications and through faculty leadership roles at the SUNY College of Optometry.
