Basic Science for the Clinician is a program that will be offered twice a year. It’s goal is to improve the practicing optometrists’ understanding of the basic science principles underlying ocular conditions in an effort to prepare for the use of novel and emerging treatment modalities. This program has been developed based upon your suggestions.
Objectives of Ocular Surface & Cornea course:
To enhance the optometrists’ ability to apply the basic principles of inflammation and immunology in the assessment and management of corneal and ocular surface disease.
To enhance the optometrists’ ability to apply the basic principles of bacteriology, virology, anatomy and physiology, in the assessment and management of corneal and ocular surface disease.
To develop an understanding of the basic science principles underlying novel and emerging treatments of corneal and ocular surface disease.
- Pre-Registration Fee $100.00. On-site registration fee $125.
- Breakfast & Registration will open at 7:30 AM.
- Lecture 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 4 Hours of COPE & CE Broker Approved CE credit.
