The Breakfast & Learn series offers an assortment of CE topics including "Basic Science for the Clinician", which is a program offered twice per year. The goal of "Basic Science for the Clinician" is to improve the practicing optometrist’s understanding of the basic science principles underlying ocular conditions in an effort to prepare for the use of novel and emerging treatment modalities.
Each program is held at the College on a Sunday or Saturday morning and offers four hours of COPE approved & CE Broker approved continuing education credits. These programs have been developed based upon your suggestions.

It has been said that medicine begins where the technology ends. Imaging and new technologies have revolutionized the management of eye disease in the primary care practice. Wave-front optimized refraction analyzers represent new frontiers in digital refractions. The same is true of the use of new technologies in medical practice. This course provides an overview of current/future uses of imaging in radiology, oncology, and internal medicine. Additionally, the course examines how future trends in medical technology will enhance inter-professional teams of optometrists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health care providers.
Pre-Registration Fee $100.00. On-site registration fee $125.
Breakfast & Registration will open at 7:30 AM.
