Biography

Dr. Terry Scheid is an Associate Clinical Professor at SUNY College of Optometry. He graduated SUNY Optometry in 1975 as a member of the first graduating class. Dr. Scheid has been a member of the Contact lens faculty for 36 years and was a former Contact Lens Clinic Chief. Dr. Scheid was awarded a distinguished faculty award by the graduating classes of 1978 and 1997. He is a member of the AOA, AOSA, a Fellow of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators, and a fellow and Diplomate of the AAO Cornea and Refractive Surgery section. Dr. Scheid published a textbook “Clinical Manual of Contact Lens Prescribing: (2002) and has over 20 article publications.
