Rates:

a) Indirect Cost Recovery (Facility and Administrative) Rates for federal grants are 79.5% of salary and wages for on-campus research; 32.2% for off-campus research (effective 7/1/06 through 6/30/10). For non-federal awards, the rates of 57.3% (on-campus) and 21.4% (off-campus) are applied to total direct costs.

b) Fringe Benefit Rates for fiscal year 2006-07 are 34.5% for regular (RF) employees, 10.5% for graduate students; 4% for undergraduate students, 14.5% for summer only (RF) employees, and 43.34% for SUNY employees. For budgeting, RF recommends the following:
