Information Technology
The Information Technology Unit seeks to address the information and educational technology needs of the College community through coordination with other relevant units, and through an active process of needs assessment, planning, selection, implementation, administration, training and support. The Unit manages the College network, electronic mail and conferencing system, and provides technical support for the College Web server.
Media Services
The primary function of the Media Resources Center at the SUNY College of Optometry is to provide production services and audio-visual (AV) assistance for College faculty (including Residents), staff and administration for projects approved by the College in support of instruction, publication, scholarly presentations and public relations. Services are provided to graduate and professional students in support of publication and scholarly presentations with the approval of a supervising faculty member and the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and/or the relevant Department Chair.
