Fifteen ODs were invited to discuss their practices and share keys to successful career trajectories with more than 60 SUNY Optometry students during the fourth annual Networking with Doctors social on Wednesday, October 19.
The speed-dating style networking event was co-produced by four student organizations – the Student Optometric Association for Private Practice, the New York State Optometric Association, the Connecticut Student Association of Optometrists, and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians – in partnership with the College’s Career Development Center and Essilor of America.
