Paula, a bright and energetic 12-year-old girl, struggled in school. In 8th grade, she still couldn’t read or write and suffered ridicule from her classmates. With nowhere else to turn, Paula’s mother took her to the UEC where her daughter received a complete pscyhoeducational evaluation from expert optometrists and psychologists.
We were able to diagnose Paula with dyslexia and now she’s finally receiving the learning disability-related services she needs. Watch this video to learn more about Paula and her life-changing experience at the University Eye Center.
