Preschool Vision Therapy

Our team of expert optometrists develops treatment plans that may include the use of lenses, prisms, patching and other therapies. Because each plan is individualized, the procedures used and the duration of therapy are dependent on the nature of the problem being treated. Our optometrists work together to help children overcome vision problems so they can reach their full potential in school and in life.

The University Eye Center’s Vision Therapy Service and Preschool Vision Therapy Clinic can help children with vision disorders such as:

  • Amblyopia (lazy eye)
  • Strabismus (crossed or wandering eye)
  • Binocular Disorders (eye teeming)
  • Accommodative Disorders (eye focusing)
  • Oculomotor Dysfunction (eye movement)
  • Visual-Perceptual Dysfunction

Appointments are available Monday through Friday. Therapy programs can be scheduled after school and early evenings on Monday through Thursday, as well as on Saturdays.
