How do I get my EyeConnect account?
Ask a University Eye Center staff member to issue you an EyeConnect token during your office visit and you will receive an email with instructions. If you have problems activating your account, please contact us at (212) 938-4001.
What if I forget my password?
Click the Need help with your username and password? link below the username box on the login page, UniversityEyeCenter.org/EyeConnect and follow the instructions. If you require additional assistance, call us at (212) 938-4001
How do I send a message to my doctor using EyeConnect?
Log into your account, click Mail on the top tool bar, and select Compose Message.
If I send a message to my doctor, when can I expect a reply?
You will generally receive a reply within 24 to 48 business hours. Remember, EyeConnect should NOT be used for urgent needs. If there is a true medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Is EyeConnect secure?
Yes, EyeConnect protects the privacy and confidentiality of your personal health information and messages.
Can someone else access my account?
The system is secure. No one can access your account unless they know your user name and password. You must never share this information.
Can my spouse and I share one EyeConnect account?
No. Each adult must establish her or his own EyeConnect account.
Can I view a family member’s health record in EyeConnect?
Parents or legal guardians may log into their own EyeConnect account and connect to their children’s information. Information about an adult may be accessed by family members or other legally authorized representatives with written permission from the patient and a signed EyeConnect Proxy Consent Form.
Can I see all my appointments in EyeConnect?
You may see upcoming appointments and past appointments by clicking Schedule: My Appointments and checking Include Past Appointments.
How do I pay my bill via EyeConnect?
You will receive an email or text notification when an electronic statement is available. Click the Pay button if there is an outstanding balance. Only the latest statement is payable on EyeConnect. If you have a pending payment and cannot pay online, please call (212) 938-4001.
