Harriette Canellos, OD
Dr. Canellos has been an associate clinical professor at SUNY Optometry since 1993. She serves as both the director of the UEC’s Referral Service and the instructor of record for the fourth year internship program. Dr. Canellos received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1992 and completed her residency at the Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1993. She has researched extensively and spoken widely about ocular diseases. Dr. Canellos is also a member of the New York State Board of Optometry and she received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2004.
