Dr. Sherman was appointed to the staff of the Optometric Center of New York and the newly established SUNY State College of Optometry as a clinical instructor in 1971. Over the years he has held many positions including chief of Advanced Care and director of Professional Services. Dr. Sherman is presently a distinguished teaching professor.
