Dr. Carter has been an associate clinical professor at SUNY Optometry since 1988. She is responsible for clinical supervision of third year interns in the University Eye Center and is a past instructor of record for the geriatrics course. Dr. Carter earned her Doctor of Optometry at the SUNY Optometry in 1987 and completed a residency at St. Albans VA Hospital. She is in private practice in Montclair, NJ and has also served in several capacities on the board of the National Optometric Association.
