Dr. Cuevas is a 2001 graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed a residency program in 2002 in Primary Care Optometry with an emphasis in pediatrics, specialty contact lenses and corneal conditions. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the College of Optometry where she teaches clinical procedures and supervises interns in the Primary Eye Care Clinic. Dr. Cuevas has presented research on LASIK and glaucoma at the American Academy of Optometry. She has volunteered for the vision screening program Opening Eyes at the New York Special Olympics and a vision screening program for multiple sclerosis at the MS walkathon in New York City. She is also a partner at Affinity Eye Care Group in New Jersey.
