Dr. Canellos is an Associate Clinical Professor and the Director of the UOC Referral Service. She is a graduate of New York University and the New England College of Optometry. She completed her residency training in Ocular Disease/ Primary Care at the Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Dr. Canellos served for eight years as the Primary Care Residency Supervisor and continues to supervise residents and interns in the Ocular Disease clinics. She serves as Chair of the institution’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Committee. Dr. Canellos is a member of the New York State Board of Optometry and is a fellow of the Academy of Optometry.
