Dr. Joel H. Warshowsky, a Developmental and Behavioral Optometrist, is Associate Clinical Professor at SUNY College of Optometry where he has been on faculty since 1976.~ He has previously served at SUNY as Assistant Chief of Vision Training Services, Acting Chief of Children Services, and the founding Chief of Pediatrics.~ He has served as Optometric Consultant to numerous schools for child development in the New York metropolitan area.~ Dr. Warshowsky has lectured nationally and internationally, appeared on television and radio interviews, and is widely published in the field.~ He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association, and the Optometric Extension Program.
