Ralph E. Gundel, OD, FAAO had over 7 years of clinical research experience before joining the Contact Lens faculty of the State College of Optometry in 1989. He now serves as Associate Clinical Professor and Supervisor of their Cornea and Contact Lens Fellowship. Dr. Gundel has published over 35 research papers related to contact lenses and contact lens care, and co-authored two textbook chapters on contact lens fitting. Clinically he specializes in contact lens applications for keratoconus, orthokeratology, presbyopia, as well as dry eye.
