Dr. WIlliam F. O'Connell is a 1979 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After graduation he practiced at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine for 15 years serving as Director of Low Vision services there. In 1990, Dr. O'Connell earned Diplomate status in Low Vision with the American Academy of Optometry. He has worked since that time for Lighthouse International, as Director of their Low vision services inthe Hudson Valley region, and in 1993 he joined the clinical faculty at SUNY College of Optometry.
