Rendering of the new Center for Pediatric Eye Care EFFECTIVE FOUNDATIONAL SUPPORT We provide the financial foundation, administrative support and environment to achieve the College’s mission. Dawn Rigney Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Optometric Center of New York Mrs. Rigney joined the College effective May 17 after a national search. She provides leadership for advancement programming, including strategic planning and fiscal management. She will create and implement initiatives to secure resources for the College to maintain excellence and national leadership in its educational, clinical and research missions. She most recently served as assistant vice president of alumni and parent relations for Pace University, where she worked in several capacities since 2009. Our Vision for Children Funds raised during the College’s capital campaign for its new Center for Pediatric Eye Care will be used to purchase equipment, cutting edge diagnostic technology and modern furnishings to create a welcoming environment for University Eye Center’s youngest patients and their families on the tenth floor. The new 5,000 sq. ft. facility will also provide a state-of-the-art educational environment that incorporates clinical research and evidence-based practice to train future eye care professionals.
