Today, the SUNY Optometry legacy student is a student member of the Optometric Center of New York board. “After working in asset management, I felt that I wanted a more rewarding career. Growing up with parents who love their jobs and who are passionate about patient care certainly inspired me.” Kyra Dorgeloh, Class of 2019 Kyra received the highest score of any student at the College on Part One of the National Board Exams. “The biggest thing I’ve learned—and am still learning—is to be flexible…it takes some flexibility to do your best no matter what comes your way.”
