Career Portal

The Career Portal allows SUNY Optometry students, residents, faculty, alumni and friends of the College the opportunity to search local and national optometry jobs and internship opportunities. The Career Portal features a resume builder to create and store your professional information as well as letter writing tools. Keep up-to-date with workshops and sessions provided by the Career Development Center as well as career resources posted in the Resources Library. The Career Portal is provided free of charge.

Note: Job Seeker Accounts and Employer Accounts use separate credentials.

You can not post or manage a job listing using a “Job Seeker” account.

Students and doctors can view job postings and apply to jobs by creating a “Job Seeker” account through the link above and then clicking “Sign Up.” Those credentials are independent of any existing SUNY Optometry user accounts.

In order to post or manage a job listing, you must register for an “Employer Account”.

Once your account is approved, you will receive a verification email to create a password and log in. At this point, you can create a job posting which will be automatically uploaded on submission. You can also log into this account to manage all active job postings as well as view any resumes from applicants. These options are available on your home screen.
