University Eye Center
The University Eye Center (UEC), the patient-care facility of the State University of New York College of Optometry is one of the largest eye-and-vision care clinics in the country examining approximately 70,000 patients annually.
While the College’s University Eye Center provides SUNY Optometry students with a significant range of clinical experiences and delivers care to tens of thousands of New Yorkers each year, it represents just one component of the College’s vast and varied network of clinical relationships. Additionally, the College’s clinical relationships with school and community-based organizations such as the Bowery Mission and The Door provide students with even richer and more unique experiences.
