Lauren Strawn

Bio

Dr. Lauren Strawn is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the SUNY College of Optometry in the Vision Rehabilitation clinic. After earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY, she went on to complete her residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at SUNY. Dr. Strawn then went into private practice, where she provided vision therapy to patients of all ages and managed cases with local physicians and therapists. Vision therapy allows her to be creative and treat each patient’s individual needs, she says, and she is happy to be back at home at SUNY. Dr. Strawn’s areas of interest include the treatment of strabismus, amblyopia, and traumatic brain injuries. She is supervisor of the Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation residency at SUNY. She is also a fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
