Bio

Dr. Michael Sullivan-Mee is Chair, Department of Clinical Education, and Clinical Professor at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. He is the instructor-of-record for the Ocular Anatomy and Physiology course and provides clinical instruction in the University Eye Center glaucoma service. He conducts clinical research, primarily in the field of glaucoma, and he earned his American Academy of Optometry (AAO) glaucoma diplomate credential in 2006. He currently serves as chair for the AAO Glaucoma Section Diplomate Program, serves on the AOA’s Council on Research committee, serves on the ASCO Optometric Education leadership Institute subcommittee, consults for NBEO, and was past chair of the AAO Scientific Program Committee. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1990.
