Beth Katz

Bio

Dr Katz is a Clinical Faculty member who has been at SUNY since 2024. She received her undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University and after working for a number of years in the optometric field decided to return to school to obtain her Optometric Degree. After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, she completed a residency at the Southern College of Optometry in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy. She obtained her Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in 2025. She currently works with first- and second-year students in clinical skills and binocular vision course labs and serves as a clinical preceptor to third- and fourth-year students in the Specialized Pediatric Eye Care and Vision Rehabilitation clinics.
