Bio

Dr. Hue graduated from SUNY College of Optometry, where she also completed a Residency in Primary Eye Care and completed an MS in Vision Science. She is involved in clinical teaching with interns in Primary Care and Contact Lens clinics, and is the instructor of record for the Public Health course. As SUNY’s International Programs Coordinator and Advanced Standing Program Director, Dr. Hue is committed to advancing global optometric care and education through visiting programs and institutional collaborations with China, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, France, and more. She has also participated in multiple eye care service trips to rural Jamaica. She currently serves as Chair of the ASCO International Optometric Educators Special Interest Group and Past-Chair of the Public Health Educators SIG. Dr. Hue has furthered her education in Global Health Planning & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, completing 40 credit hours of graduate coursework.
