Mariah Marshall

Bio

Dr. Mariah Marshall is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the State University of New York College of Optometry and a member of the University Eye Center faculty. She earned her B.A. from Vassar College and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry. Her training includes externships at High Mountain Eyecare, Lyons VA Medical Center, the Cornea & Laser Eye Institute in Teaneck, NJ, and internships at the SUNY University Eye Center. She completed her residency in Vision Rehabilitation with an emphasis on Low Vision Rehabilitation at the SUNY College of Optometry. During her residency training, Dr. Marshall was a recipient of the Bill Mattingly Memorial Scholarship and Ocutech® Low Vision Research Award. She has lectured on the importance of pediatric low vision and of low vision rehabilitation in patients with multiple disabilities. Dr. Marshall is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She has served as Co-Trustee of Region 1 on the board for the National Optometric Association and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
